John, the writer of Revelation, saw global communication taking place. At the time of the writing of Revelation, information moved at the speed of horseback or the speed of a boat. In these passages, it shows the world viewing these things going on as they are happening. Today, we see that global communications is how this prophecy will be fulfilled. With satellite TV, the Internet, and smart phones, we will be able to watch almost anything, anywhere. Even recently, there are plans for lower flying satellites to give more people access to the Internet.
