God is Holy and Just

In civil law, a good judge must punish crime. If he looks the other way to injustice, he himself is corrupt and should be punished.

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face. (Psa 89:14)

You love righteousness and hate wickedness; (Psa 45:7a)

by no means clearing the guilty (Exo 34:7)

For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. (Ecc 12:14)

But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; (Isa 64:6)

God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day. (Psa 7:11)

Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. (Mat 10:26)

The Wages of Sin is Death

Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. (1Jn 3:4)

You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image… You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain… Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy… Honor your father and your mother… You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet” (Exo 20:3-17)

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23)

For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. (Jas 2:10)

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire. (Mat 5:21-22)

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Mat 5:27-28)

The fool has said in his heart,”There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none who does good. Every one of them has turned aside; They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one. (Psa 53:1,3)

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Rev 21:8)

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6:23)

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. (Mar 9:48)

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Rev 20:15)

God is Merciful to Those Who Call on Him

and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mar 1:15)

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (Joh 3:14-16)

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, (1Co 15:3-4)

Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. (Isa 55:6)

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. (Psa 86:5)

Eternal Life is in Jesus Christ

The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6:23)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (Joh 14:6)

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (Joh 3:3)

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. (Eze 36:25-27)

New Life

So that God may be glorified in all things. (1Pe. 4:11)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2Co. 5:17)

Study God’s Word. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. (1Jn 5:13)

Prayer & Worship God. Pray without ceasing. (1Th 5:17)Worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. (Phil 3:3)

Fellowship with Believers. That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. (1Jn 1:3)

Share the Gospel. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Mat 28:19-20)

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. (Eph 5:2)

Test of Biblical Assurance

You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? (Mat. 7:16)

Assurance is based on self-examination in light of Scripture.

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. (2Co. 13:5)

How can one be assured that he is saved, going to Heaven? Look up the following verses. Test yourself and see if your life lines up with them, if you are in Him (Galatians).
1Jn 1:5-7; 1Jn 1:8-10; 1Jn 2:3-4; 1Jn 2:9-11, 3:14; Mat 6:7; 1Jn 2:15-17; 1Jn 2:24-25; 1Jn 3:10; 1Jn 4:13; Heb 12:5-8; Acts 2:42, Heb 10:25; Luk 10:2, 1Co 9:16; Gal 5:22-23; Rom 6:17, 2Ti 1:3

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to confirm these things in your life or to bring them into your life so that you will be assured of your salvation.
